Who HelloDM is for — and who it isn’t
“Instagram automation” describes at least four unrelated products: scheduling posts, automating conversations, managing a team inbox, and bots that follow and like on your behalf. What HelloDM does
Comment-to-DM on posts and reels
Someone comments a keyword and receives your DM automatically, optionally with a public reply under their comment. The most common reason people use HelloDM.
Keyword replies to incoming DMs
An automation watches messages and replies when one matches your keywords. Different keywords can send completely different messages.
Follow gating
Hold the reply until the person confirms they follow you, then deliver it. The one growth mechanism in the product.
